7.2/10 too much holy water
this is the first time I have ever been refused dank memes at an establishment. I was quite shocked that the use of memes here was illegal. I guess they took "before they hated you they hated meme" literally.Added May 16, 2017 by Dank meme Connoisseur - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
Easy to find large clean parking lot. Nice clean and well-maintained building. People are very friendly and accommodating. It's a very large Church. It was my first time here and I will be back. I highly recommend it to anyone.

The best preschool in the Woodlands! My daughter loved her teachers, was always happy to go to school, and was reading by age 4. They also took great care of my 10 month old son. Robin, the director is very involved, knows all the children well and has a huge heart. We had to move away from the Houston area and this school is one of the main things we will miss!

This review has been long overdue. My daughter attended The Climbing Tree program at Christ Church United Methodist in 2013. She started when she was 6 months old and we pulled her out at 10 months. Our experience at this school was so horrible that I am still in utter disbelief and I am completely flabbergasted at how my daughter and our family were treated.
The first day, my daughter, who was a very good eater and 6 months old, was given 1 bottle in the 10 hours that she was there. I asked why someone didn't call me so I can figure out what was wrong and the response I received was "we didn't want to bother you."
During her second week, I received an incident report claiming that my daughter fell while trying to pull herself up. The room is carpeted and the area where she allegedly fell was covered in a play mat cushion. My daughter has fallen straight backwards on tile at our home numerous times and has never had any marks. When I picked up my daughter, she had a gigantic purple and red welt on the top of her head. I asked to see the surveillance video but they told me that the surveillance cameras were not working (they never did the whole time I was there despite telling me that we would have 24/7 video access to their classrooms when we signed up). The welt was so bad that my husband and everyone I showed it to agreed that they must have dropped her on her head. Still without substantial evidence, we did not take her out.
When my daughter moved to the next classroom, we were not welcomed. The teacher got upset with me when I asked to try to give my daughter at least 3 bottles in the 10 hours while she was there. Moreover, the teacher yelled at me because I forgot to label my bottles and asked to use her label maker. She yelled to me that "that's my label maker!" It was such an uncomfortable interaction that I didn't know what to do. On a side note, I forgot to label my bottles because I had just found out that my Mother might have breast cancer.
A few weeks later, I get a call on a Saturday from my daughter's teacher who demanded a meeting with the director because we were having problems in the classroom. She yelled at me and accused me of being bossy and stuck up. I asked her to please give me examples and she couldn't. Nevertheless, we had a meeting with the director.
When we meet the director, the director gave me a huge lecture on how everyone that works there is family and we stand by our family. I asked her if she was trying to tell me that since I wasn't family that my opinions as a paying customer, a mother, a human being doesn't matter and her response was "I stand by our family." She treated me as if I were some kind of criminal delinquent. She did acknowledge that the teacher did blow things out of proportion but she would not address any of the issues that I brought up. She ended the conversation with, "do you really want to be that mom?!" I said "excuse me, what do you mean by that?" The director said "do you really want you to be labeled as "that mom" and have your daughter treated differently?" After that comment, I took our daughter out of the school.
Moreover, a few days prior to taking my daughter out of school, I noticed a little rash on my daughters hand. After numerous doctor visits, she was diagnosed with a staph infection which she contracted at the school that covered her hands and face. It lasted for 3 months.
During the 4 months that my daughter was at the Climbing Tree, she had pink eye, bronchitis, flu, ear infections, nonstop colds, and it ended with a very bad staph infection. Since we took her out and moved her to another daycare, she has never had anything worse than a cold. She is now 3 years old.
I know that my voice is only one and everyone has their own experiences; however, our experience was so negatively profound that I needed it to be heard.Added September 11, 2016 by Jennifer Zilliox
